Prologue
Why does everyone think my name is spelled differently. They think it’s spelled like actual candy. C-A-N-D-Y. Well, no you fools. My name is spelled Kandy. I take back the fools. I don’t want the gods getting me again or Yinwa. Last time I did something, I fell off the chair backwards. It wasn’t really me, but hey, supposedly, they are me. I don’t think so, but yeah, this is me.
Kandy got up and walked towards the back. She opened the door to a room. “I meant to get water,” she said loudly, knowing the voices could hear her. And knowing the voices wanted her to say that aloud.
They like to write for her too. The good ones and the bad ones…
