Clear Window

She sat by the window, noticing which thoughts stayed and which passed. Schizophrenia is a complex mental health condition that affects perception, thinking, and emotion, and it exists on a spectrum of experiences rather than a single presentation (National Institute of Mental Health).

Supportive environments that emphasize acceptance, routine, and social connection are associated with improved quality of life and functional outcomes (World Health Organization). She was not broken. She was learning the weather of her own mind, with patience and support forming a quiet circle around her.
